In the study of M4, we learn about perspective. Through the different arrangement of the basic image to create their own distribution of the city image. In this module, isometric and perspective are the most important. The city I was assigned to is Fedora, which is an illusory ideal city. It’s a city of blue glass balls with Medusa ponds, elephant roads and twisted spires. When the residents visit the city, they fantasize about their ideal city. They are immersed in beautiful fantasies, but they don’t know that all of them are fantasies, not real existence. I created a model of a city that was spinning up as it fell down. In the middle of the city is a pool with a roof, which coincides with Medusa’s pool in the story. Rotating the twisted stone upward is the manifestation of the twisted spire. The falling stones show the moving of time, and also indicate that the city is illusory. Residents gathered by the Medusa pool, they were gathering discussions and playing in the pool water. Their ideal city is carefree and free. The good passing away.
